I have two children, a wife who is also a physician (Dr. Linda Schaffer MD).

This photo combines a couple of things that I really enjoy: flying (top of this photo is a wing) and the mountains of Idaho. In addition to these two passions, my interests include whitewater sports, nordic skiing and other activities that include practicing as an Airman Medical Examiner who certifies pilots ability to fly. I am active in the Nordic Ski Racing program at Bogus Basin, as well as several other community activities.
